[Clydefrog]

Hey, all.

Just got my first 7621, loving everything about it except for the pickups. I know the situation with the stock pickups can be a bit confusing, as they're called "Blaze" but are not really the standard Blaze pickups and all.

They just don't have enough of a "punch" for me, and if anything, seem a bit too trebly.

Looking for a high-output replacement, preferably passive. I have an Evolution in the bridge of my cheapo Kramer 7 string, sorta like it, but I'm keeping my options open.

Would like the pickup to be available in WHITE, but it isn't a requirement.

Some people like the Blazes, some don't. But if you like the sound of your Evolution on your Kramer 7 string, why not getting another one? Or how about a Dimarzio Blaze Custom? From the Seymour Duncan camp, there's always the JB-7, Distortion-7 and Invader-7. All of which are high output.
