ok guys, so my teacher asked me to sell some of his roland gear for him, and i need some more info. it all seems like rare stuff! anything you can tell me about it ( what its worth, production numbers, etc.) would be helpful.

1. roland gr 300 guitar synth with power cord and original manual
2. 24 pin cable
3. us-2 unit selector

I had a Roland GR-707 - the one with that funky stabilizing bar running parallel to the neck, still have it somewhere. The floor unit/synthesizer drowned in a flood in our home. I had traded an old strat for the guitar and synth. I remember the pair retailing for for some obscene price (?$2000?) in the 80's. I really don't think that it will fetch more than about $600 now, though.

Check out the Roland user's group, or E-**y. Sorry that I can't be of much help.

I agree to search e.b.a.y. There are a few auctions up now, and search old auctions to see what recent ones went for. Quickest way to get an idea of value, IMO.
