Just having a browse this morning and noticed this one - looks like a VBK for the most part, but has green dot inlays - very strange.

Can anyone shed any light on exactly what it is?

Could be a revamped RG.

It wouldn't ne too difficult to replace the regular fret markers with green dots.

The nobs look to be the wrong shade of green as well. Much more like what you would buy nowadyas if you see what I mean.

either... a customised RG

or a VBK with a changed fretboard

As nick says-replacement knobs and crap ones at that!
I like the misleading touch of having a UV7BK picture in the listing too ;)

Looks like a parts swap to me. I bet the pbk looks great with the regular sized handle though! I bet that guitar is NOT for sale
Actually a black VBK Jem with the PBK/RB monkey grip has been for sale in Norway this winter, and the registered owner has a typical Norwegian name, so it might be this guitar.
I didn't buy it since it wouldn't do it for me.

You'll notice that the "Jem" logo on the tip of the headstock looks a little strange too. Too far forward and not quite right...

Well spotted!

its too big and should be underneath the high e-string tuning peg

so that's a customised RG neck-but what about the body?
