What a strange phenomenon

We went from dozens and dozens of replies and member logins to absolutely ZERO replies to ANY posts

.....weird man, very weird....

You have to remember that interest in the JEM is waning, even Steve Vai is losing interest in these guitars ;)

Also flooding the site with dozens of threads that are a little bit "out there" compared to JEMsite's normally sedate line of conversation probably isn't helping. Kinda like when the rowdy football fans descend on a the quiet local's pub... ;)

Chill out for a bit and enjoy the natural flow of this place rather than trying to make it what it was 15 years ago!

I was only trying To stimulate some topics but I’ll just sit back and take your advice

Dude, it’s summer, it’s covid and I’m stuck at home with 3 kids and a very “easy going” wife

So forgive me for my zeal, I missed this place And my old friends

But as always Jono knows exactly what to say

God bless - I’m gonna go bother Ford for another test drive tomorrow’s then lol lmao

Good night and good weekend jemsite

I think forums in general are quiet, new generations go elsewhere. I come here every couple weeks and have a quick look but there isn't a lot to talk about at the moment, and if you look at popular guitar forums (pretty much just Reddit now) it's mostly the new players asking new player questions that feeds the entire thing. Jemsite is full of grumpy old men talking about guitars from 30 years ago like grumpy old men.

Most interesting thing in the guitar world for me right now is the EVH 5150 Iconic, which looks like an homage to the original Peavey 5150 and is also designed by James Brown. Youtube seems to be buzzing about this amp release too, not something I'm interested in buying but look forward to hearing more about it.

TGP is still pretty active, but a large portion of RG/Jem/Pia/UV enthusiasts are active on a few FB user groups, but it's a tad fragmented and of course the usual spammers show up dropping dumb videos that have nothing to do with music or guitar. That's why I came back here to just nose around and see what's what.
I'm amazed that 20+ years later the forum is still active and I can look back at the activity and laugh about stuff we posted.
Pretty amazing way to archive your online life.
