I just love this drink, I ordered 24 cans from a small company in England. I first tried it when I visited some family in São Paulo years ago, and I recently found a shop in England who sell it at a nice price so I had to order some.

Gotta be careful with guarana... it's hyper-loaded with (naturally-occurring) caffeine, so don't mix it with alcohol or drink it before engaging in physical activity. Doing so could result in severe dehydration.

There have been stories of high school kids in North America drinking several guarana-spiked "energy" drinks before football or hockey games and then having heart attacks on the field.
The nice thing about the guarana berry, though, is that it provides its caffeine very slowly, instead of all at once like the caffeine in those energy drinks. With guarana I've read that you don't feel a jolt, but a steady stream of mild caffeination.
this must be bawls energy drink, i go to compusa and get it by the case
there's an awesome drink called V in australia that contains a good dose of guarana. i stopped drinking coffee in favour of this stuff.

until the paranoia started.
I have tried V before, it's horrible. It tastes just like Red Bull, they both have very high levels of caffeine. I'm not sure Guarana Antartica has that much caffeine in though, it's a Brazilian import.

Sounds like Red Bull.

Guaraná Antarctica is very different of Red Bull or others Guaraná based energy drinks.
It's just a natural/herbal soft drink, just like Coca Cola or Sprite.
And the brand Antarctica is owned by Pepsi Co.
Think it just like an yellowed/golden Sprite (w/o lemon flavour).
Can't x-plain, but it's an AWESOME drink!
Guaraná Antarctica Diet
Caffeine quantity:
0,9mg per 100ml

I don't know CocaCola numbers...
The green can with red logo has nothing to do with energy drinks.
