I couldn't say that I've listened to a lot of his stuff, but ever since I bought "A Go Go" a long while back, I always been blown away by it. It's definitely in a league of its own as far as I'm concerned. I did buy a few of his other albums afterwards, but didn't think they were anywhere close.

The whole album has a similar cool groove to it.

I love his playing, but his tone's a little too "quacky" for me. I did hear a live album he did with John Mclaughlin(I think it was) where his tone was much different than I'd previously heard from him. His playing was phenomenal.
