and i wanted to get a flight case for it, but had some difficulty finding one that i was confident would fit it, anyone know any cases/ companies that would cater for my needs
Jackson themselves make nice cases, both wood/tolex hardshells and gigbags. Any Jackson dealer should have/get them. If you looking for something more "flight" ready, get a SKB and cut the foam to fit your guitar. I've had really good luck for people with those.
