I am considering the new AZ2204N which has a roasted maple neck with a rosewood finger board.

Which type of rosewood is Ibanez using in these new models?

Thank you, Jeff

I checked with my sales engineer at Sweetwater. He said Ibanez almost exclusively uses Indian rosewood on they Prestige guitars. Not definitive but most probably.

Great guitar with construction and attnetion to detail - I had an opportunity to check out a Prussian Blue one at a guitar store MA. The fret work was amazing and the guitar itself sounded great; my only issue is the neck, its way too thick and I wasn't able to get past it.

Thank you for the hands on feedback. I currently have an RG Prestige. It has a thin Wizard neck. It is a great guitar. I went ahead and pre-ordered the AZ-N. The thicker neck may be an asset for my 70 year old hands. I'm going to give it a shot.

Thanks again, Jeff
