Thanks for all your help on valuing the guitar.
After checking it out extensively, I determined it was all original, but with a newer case, and some setup problems.
Almost zero fretwear, and the neck looked straight. It played great, but a few things were a little off - a couple frets were coming unseated (could slide a piece of paper under 2 or 3 of them), there were some minor bending problems as a result, and the trem was choking on pull-up.
I knew these were fairly minor issues, so I was happy when I was able to pick the guitar up for a very nice price.
I removed a neck shim, straightened out the neck, seated the problem frets with the Jaws press and some super glue, did a quick level, polished up the frets, pulled a couple of trem springs (5 down to 3), adjusted the bridge, oiled up the board, then set action, relief, and pickup height.
Plays killer now, and sounds great!
