"Under a Glass Moon" by Petrucci.
Came here to post that"Under a Glass Moon" by Petrucci.
From a visual perspective, I love the solo in the video to "Fol for your lovin'" when Vai puts the guitar on the floor and then does that tapped run down the fretboard.
As a teenage guitar nerd, that was probably the coolest thing ever...
That album was so accessible and mainstream. Due to the pop sensibility of the songs, they were catchy and pleasant to listen to. The fact that you then had Vai all over the thing was like a dream...Whitesnake ''Deeper the love'', like that solo, like that video.
Most likely to single out and specify a sub category. Making it easier to narrow down our likes and dislikes. But, why limit ourselves to just Ibanez?
Well that was interesting! Just a little Vai influence...Melodyk by Richie Allan or the obvious For the Love of God by Vai.
P.S. You want to watch this if you haven't heard about Richie:
Good one! It was played in a Tom Anderson though...One of my favorites is Hot Dog and Shake from Steve Vai with David Lee Roth band.
