Block height of Gotoh Floyd Rose as Lo TRS II replacement
Hi.
I want to replace the LO TRS II with the Gotoh on my Ibanez RG470 Made in Korea in 1994.
Gotoh exist in 3 version: block height 33mm,36mm,40mm. The LO TRS II have a block height of 35mm.
I've found online the 40mm version of the Gotoh at a great price so, this is the problem:
With the 40mm version the bridge will touch the cover, this is not a huge problem, i can cut a hole in the cover.
The thing that worries me is that with a block 5mm higher the springs are no longer perfectly parallel to the body.
Is this a real problem or just my useless concern?
If this is a real problem how can i solve it?
