Hey guys is this too low for the edge pro to be in the cavity? The action is already too high and when I compare to my rg1570 the 1570 edge pro is much higher out the cavity and the action is alot lower.. Where do I go from here

Edge pro trem sits deeper in the cavity and the baseplate has to be paralel to the guitar body, not angled as the edge/lo-pro units. Anyways, if the trem is too low and the action remains high, makes me think your neck pocket needs a shim to raise the neck pocket and lower the action. Is easy to do, visit Ibanez Rules tech section to see in detail how to proper set up your guitar.

sounds like it needs a full setup.... I'd start with checking if the neck is shimmed and how much
this can lead to the bridge needing to be high with regard to the recess because of the neck angle

neck relief will also play its part

like i said a full setup :)

enjoy
