I just got a Jem BFP and I have noticed that there is a bit of friction on the bridge and body when I use the whammy bar, it looks like the top part of the tremolo grazing against the body, not sure why or what to do to adjust. I have set the action and tension so it's perfect. The area is right by the fine tuners. Afraid of doing damage and not exactly sure what to adjust.

Post a picture of the entire bridge in the cavity. It's possible one of your post inserts is egging out it's hole causing the bridge to sit crooked in the cavity. Though I can't tell with that particular but picture.

Hi,
Did you checkthe space between the scratch plate and the trem-plate?
I own a "woody" and the post insert broke "through" the wood at the lower post. This will also result in a misalignment of the trem.
Below pictures of the damage in the body of my "woody". In my case it's the lower post. From your picture (the trem grazing against the top part) I would check the upper post.
The red arrows in both pictures point to the damage (crack in the wood in the second picture). I am planning to make a wooden or metal bride at the blue arrow position.
Anybody who had the same issue? What to do about it?
Thanks for any comments in advance.
