building my own guitar

hi all me and my son have taken on a project to build our own guitar. i have purchessed the templates, have the blue prints and watched so many youtube vids. we have a router and the wood but there is still so much that im unsure of can anyone offer up any advice to a first timmer. im prity ok at wood work and have build diffrent things but never anything like this. help!!!!!!

Looks pretty good. You and your son are doing an amazing job. We would all like to see final result when it is done.

It’s really fun to work on your own guitar like this. I did a build a couple of years ago (bought an older Squier and took off all the paint and finish on the body).
