Greetings folks. I will soon be buying my first keyboard. I'm looking for something that has some weird, atmospheric sounds; not looking to do much of the pop thing. Any recommendations in the $300-$400 range?

Suprisingly, Casio makes some great synth workstations with multitrack capabilities, sequencers and excellent digital patches in that price range. No, it's not a Triton, but I have one and use it in the studio all the time.

Yamaha also makes a few models that you may want to check out.
Just make sure whatever you get is user friendly. Good luck................

The Roland Juno-D is nice, you might be able to find a used one in that price range, don't remember what I paid for mine new, but it wasn't outrageous.
