Hi guys, I have an Ibanez grg 270 b with a ILT 1 tremolo. Today I was changing the strings and while I was screwing the 6th string the saddle broke. The problem is that I can't find a saddle for the 6th string but I have found one for the 5th string and I don't know if there will be any difference, so if anyone knows please help

I am not 100% sure, but I would think yes...There is no difference in the saddles. If anything, the string groove itself may be different between the E-A-D, and the G-B-E.

So you should good...Now hopefully Rich or someone else doesn't prove me to be an idiot... :grin2:

String height needs to be radiused.
So if base is flat saddles are radiused,
if base is radiused saddles are flat.

If saddles are radiused then 1st and 6th are the lowest, and 3rd and 4th are the highest.
In your case either:
saddles are same, where you do not have any difference
or 6th supposed to be slightly lower then 5th, and your 6 th string is raised a bit.
And that is the best string to be raised if one need to be,
in both cases you are allright,
e.g. problem would be if you swap 3rd with 6th.
