Carvin MTS 3200 full stack+head for $800??

Hi. I have a chance to buy a Carvin MTS 3200 full stack+head for $800 and was wondering if anyone has ever played on one and if so how good are they. Is $800 a good deal. My style includes pinch harmonics. I heard that this amp has a very good clean channel but does the OD have enough distortion to play metal without a foot pedal? Thanks for your help. Matthew.
