Is it really that backwards in TN????
Yes it is. Memphis is an extremely black city, and with that, all you ever get are rap acts and the occasional pop act (Fall Out Boy *yuck*, etc).

Last year, Poison and Sammy Hagar were the only relatively hard rock acts we got. That's saying something. The last time anyone of the virtuosos came was when Vai came back in 05 on his RI:R tour.

Nashville seems to get better shows though, so I'm hoping in that wide four day gap between Cincinnati and Atlanta, they will swing by either Nashville or here. I'll keep my fingers crossed though. The last time G3 played here was in 96 with Vai, Satch, Johnson, and Kenny Wayne Shepherd on board. Too bad I missed it :(.

Yeesh, maybe a few years ago when Joe was putting on a good show, but now, 325 is a tad steep. Maybe for a pair, I'd consider it, but damn, that's not worth it to me, especially since I'm more there to see PG anyway.

I think Joe should just produce and maybe join for the jam at the end, start getting more diverse acts up there.
Throw a PG, Marty Friedman, EJ, or Stanley Jordan, maybe even Brian May to land someone of epic proportions.

As of right now it doesn't look like Ol' Cid will be able to make it. Ticket prices are a little out of the budget right now, unless Mrs Cid can somehow get the money and hook it up in time for Cidmas next week.....
