I would go if I were you. We never get any shows here in Memphis, so don't take it for granted. I feel greatful even when Sammy Hagar comes hereIm seriously considering it. Havent made up my mind yet, the only one Im really interested in seeing is PG and the jam at the end, so I guess it depends on ticket prices.
Is it really that backwards in TN????I would go if I were you. We never get any shows here in Memphis, so don't take it for granted. I feel greatful even when Sammy Hagar comes here![]()
Yes it is. Memphis is an extremely black city, and with that, all you ever get are rap acts and the occasional pop act (Fall Out Boy *yuck*, etc).Is it really that backwards in TN????
Wasn't Judas Priest Live in Memphis in 1982??? :lol:Yes it is. Memphis is an extremely black city, and with that, all you ever get are rap acts and the occasional pop act (Fall Out Boy *yuck*, etc).
Last year, Poison and Sammy Hagar were the only relatively hard rock acts we got. That's saying something. The last time anyone of the virtuosos came was when Vai came back in 05 on his RI:R tour.
Nashville seems to get better shows though, so I'm hoping in that wide four day gap between Cincinnati and Atlanta, they will swing by either Nashville or here. I'll keep my fingers crossed though. The last time G3 played here was in 96 with Vai, Satch, Johnson, and Kenny Wayne Shepherd on board. Too bad I missed it.
Large package?i will be there dude. are you doing the large package for backstage and all?
