Di Marzio states they use Virtual-Vintage technology to warm up the high notes while retaining the low end in case of Evolution7, PAF7 etc... Does this mean such pickups have diffrent tone for treble and bass strings?

i've heard good things about dimarzio's virtual vintage tech., but i havent' tried it myself.
