I’m not aware of basswood ever being used on a Prestige S series, or any S series actually but I don’t track them too closely! I think Smis synonymous with mahogany to be honest. With our without a fancy wood top.

I'm sure the 540 Radius was a basswood body... but even back in 1987 the Saber was a mahogany body.
