Dimarzio pickup suggestions for RG565 + wiring diagram

Hi everyone!
I have an RG565 that currently has a Tesla single-coil in the neck and a DiMarzio Titan in the bridge. I’m looking for advice and I’m probably only interested in DiMarzio pickups.

I’m considering two routes:

Option A – Replace both pickups (neck + bridge) with a DiMarzio set.
Looking for a balanced set that covers rock, metal, jazz fusion and very clean tones — think Guthrie Govan, Greg Howe, John Petrucci, Marco Sfogli, etc.

Option B – Keep the current DiMarzio Titan in the bridge but swap the neck pickup for a DiMarzio rail/blade style humbucker that gives a fuller, smoother neck sound while still behaving well in the in-between positions.

Questions for the group:

1. Which DiMarzio combos would you recommend for maximum versatility (rock/metal/fusion/nice cleans)?
2. If you were keeping the Titan in the bridge, which DiMarzio neck (rail) would you pair with it?
3. Does anyone have a working HS + 5-way blade (RG-style) wiring diagram for the RG565 that supports the typical Ibanez middle positions? DiMarzio’s wiring page has many RG diagrams but I haven’t found the exact HS + 5-way blade for my layout — any files/screenshots are appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any guidance!

Thank you very much for your thoughts! Funny enough I hadn’t even considered the mirage…you always hear people talk about PAF, Crusier, Super Distortion and so on. But I guess it’s because they give a more “old style” sound (?), kind of (?) and not what I’m seeking for. Sorry if my English is incorrect, it’s not my first language.

I honestly have no idea what music Jake does but his pickups are incredible. I put some in one of my Jems this year. Among the finest Dimarzio has ever made. I've not played anything else that articulates so well for cleans while also being able to sound very modern under heavy distortion. Very forward thinking. Consider this another vote for the Mirage neck. The Mirage and Titan bridges are so similar that the Mirage neck will play great with your existing bridge.
