I'm having a real hard time installing replacements, and even putting the old pick up, back into my Ibanez. It is direct mount with the little foam pieces on the edge to adjust the height. I checked the screws, they screw in fine without the pickups. But with the pickups either one screw goes in but the other won't, or both won't. Am I doing something wrong or is there some easy tip that would help with this? Thanks.

She told me you had a hard time finding the hole, so what I told her was just move it around until it's slips in. 8O

Are the holes lining up? If not, enlarge the holes in the pickup feet for more wiggle room. I wouldn't drill them out any bigger than 7/64"
