I don't want to replace my old Boss Loop Station. And I can do a good bass line by pitch shifting with my Whammy pedal.

So as the looper has stereo inputs I was wondering if a cheap second hand drum machine might make my loops more fun.

Anybody tried this and got any recommendations for easy to use makes and models. Easy on the fly stuff preferred...

Consider a DigiTech Sdrum. It is reasonably priced, sounds good and not too difficult to use.
