ok i have zw emg set picups and i bought a 3 way switch, how do i wiring it up? for the 3 way switch i have no idea, the wiring diagram it came with shows how to wiring up a 3 way slide switch with 8 pints, but mine only have 6 pins with a center pin around it, there are 3 connections between the 6 pins(cross over) and the center i assume is a groud pin, help me please!

If you can show me a picture of the switch you are talking about that would help. But if it's a 3-way blade switch similar to the one on Fender's, take a look at any wiring diagram for a standard telecaster.

what if i hook it up wrong? will it damage the pickups?

No it wont hurt the pickups.

Nothing bad will happen to the pickups unless you melt the pickup entirely or break the pins. But I've yet to see that happen(not saying that it can't, but I have yet to see it)
