Just got supposedly and old JEM pickup in the mail. It has short wires, so would guess it is a bridge. Has the 3 holes on both bobbins. The back is unmarked other than Dimarzio Pickups - Made in the USA. No F or V2. Unfaded pink with black poles, almost looks new. Standard spaced. I have done some research, and seems that this could have been off an early, early JEM777 and removed and put away right from the get go. Any thoughts on what it is?

A pink PAF Pro, measure the DC resistance to verify, you've no chance otherwise.

Really wanting to know if the early PAFs on the 777s were 3 holes, standard spaced, and no F or V2 markings.

'87 LNG vs two different '88 SK

Pickups seem to be a rolling change in 1988. 3-hole ones appear to not be F-spaced.

I have an ‘87 SK with 3 holes, but a friend of mine has an ‘89 vsk with 3 hole pickups also.

If I have a moment I can dismantle my ‘87 SK and take pics of the marks; I can compare it to my ‘91 VDY if you want which has newer two-holed DiMarzios.

'87 DiMarzios Paf Pro 2 pickups were unmarked; no V1 mark on mine. Also this guitars should be stunning new. The color of the wood and the pickups covers under the pickguard is a very nice clear, clean and soft pink.

‘87 sk is standard spaced; V1’s ara F Spaced and is marked as that on the back of the pickup with and “F” just above the V1 mark.
