Hello people, I am not new anymore, but new in here, starting ith a question.

How is the finish on an Edge/Lo Pro Edge/Edge Pro realized?
Is it painted or galvanized?

I am asking as I saw a black one with "bubbly" color. I thought it was painted and dusty at first, but regarding it closer, this had to be different and seeing it "bubbled" on saddles and base plate (if the beveled regions belong to the base plate, marked) I am asking myself if this can happen. Some of the color on the saddles is missing and the rest is a bit bubbled. Looks a bit like there was an intent to remove the color, which was aborted later on. Maybe too much heat compromised structure and

Thank you, but It's not powder coated if you mean something like "powder cosmo". It was glossy black.

Ah, ok, thx. What could have happened to this to look that strange? It's like the metal beneath is "compromised".
