Hi

I am trying to work out the serial number on this EX360, it is P903529 on a sticker on the back of the head. From what I can see this is a Peerless Serial number fro 1990 but a lot of sites say Peerless built from 1987 to 1988.

Any help appreciated.

It also has a tremolo bridge I can't identify

Thanks
Steve

So the actual date for this guitar is 1989, now a couple things could have happened, 1 sometimes Ibanez messes up dates, I have Ibanezs that say they are made a year before they ever even released them. It happens quite a bit. The other thing that could have happened is that they could have a different neck, Ibanez mix matches necks from the factory at times. Examples being, the s7421,s and the s7420,s Ibanez just mixes things up at times. Hopefully my nonsensical droning was helpful!

Hmm so it seems that’s not the original bridge, I did a little more research on the guitar and it ceased production in 94. Now since yours is a 90 it should have the trs-101, but it seems they put a bridge with no fine tuners or saddle blocks in it...love that color tho. I’ve been genuinely curious about those ex’s, but since I’ve got some older 500 series I’ve just not made the purchase for a high end one yet.

It almost looks like the Edge II that was found on the old Vinnie Moore signature.

https://ibanez.fandom.com/wiki/Edge_II

The link mentions the EX240 having this bridge too.
Thanks mate

That looks like the tremolo for sure, if the gutair is an 89 it could be original, I can take it off and see of there are other holes or marks from a different bridge
