Greetings, friends. Just wanna check if there are indeed fans of the Falchion/ Glaive/ Halberd here.

Or are we more secure with a conventional-shaped guitar?

Not me. If I had to choose a "metal"-shaped guitar from the ones I know, I'd go with a Steinberger Demon.

10 points to CosmicDebris

I can't exactly say I'm a fan... That said, I'm kinda old school. But I also find the new MTM, which is now an X series shape instead of an RG shape, unattractive, relatively.
Some of them to me, just look kinda like they are copying some B.C. Rich, and some of the newer schecter shapes. While I appreciate Ibanez trying to branch out... and I'm sure they are selling, it is not my cup of tea... Instead, I'll give them my money for new RGs ;). lol!

Speaking of the MTM series. They put that crap FX-Edge III on BOTH models now! What happened to using the FX- Edge (fixed lo-pro)? I hope they have it on one of those guitars. . . . .

I do not let the instruments' body outline get in the way of true appreciation these days but those active pickups in there are acquired taste...

I'm a big fan of the look of the Xiphos.

I think these new ones are seriously lacking the same flair :(
