I have a few questions regarding the Edge trem Studs and the locking bolts inside them.
- How far do I need to loosen the 1.5 mm locking bolts, is it just a couple of turns? or I need to keep loosen them till they are completely loose

- When lowering the studs how far I can lower them down? Or in other words how do I know that I have reached the limit to where I should no longer lower the studs down.

Keep in mind though my Egde trem is installed on a lefty RG 655 prestige which was brand new when I first got it.
I had the guitar for about 4 years and never did any adjustments on the neck or the trem before.

Thanks

In reference to how far you can lower the pivot studs, it depends on how far you want to or can go before you experience fret buzz. To answer your locking screw question you just need to loosen till you can easily turn the pivot studs. Keep in mind to do all this with slack strings. Also if you change the action, you'll also need to adjust the intonation.
