Saw a guy in the UK selling a 'Jem Junior' now i know the 555 has been called that in the US for ever, but in the UK it was only 555 NOT Junior. My old all black '94 555 did not have the 'Jr' on the headstock.
I wont post the link, but if you search for Jem it will come up.

I eventually tracked it down on the Korean Ibanez website as a 'Jem-Jr' featuring the following:

JEM neck
Basswood body
ILT1 bridge
IBZ INF1(H) neck pu
IBZ INFS1(S) mid pu
IBZ INF2 (H) bridge pu

And no inlay.
It kinda looks like my old 555 (that bridge is pretty much the same) except without the dodgy half vine.
Here is the link:

This link only takes you to the start page as the site uses frames which don't alter the address. Just click on 'Electric guitars-Jem series-Jem Jr'

Does anyone have the skinny on this model? Or has there been posts about this already and i've crashed the party way after its finished?

Apparently you missed the JEM 333 topic . And it does have inlays, they're just not fancy. Basically it's an RG with a downgraded bridge and JEM cosmetics.
By 'inlays' do you just mean normal 'dot' markers? As thats all this guitar seems to have.
Anyway, i'll try to find the thread about the 333. Must be the same guitar i guess?

Ok, is it just me, or does anyone else think a plain black Jem looks really good? Personally I really like it, throw a white and black pearloid vine in that sucka and make it like the other stock jems with pups and hardware and I've got a new favorite. Seriously.

That's why the PBK has so many fans.
