FS: 1988 RG 340 (Roadstar) for project or parts ($100 OBO)

Manufactured at the Peerless factory in Pusan, Korea in 1987, the Roadstar 340 was only available in the 1988 catalog in the US.

- Basswood
- Original black finish
- A couple small nicks and some scratches... nothing serious
- Redrilled holes to accommodate aftermarket jackplate

- 1-piece Maple neck [Width: 42mm (nut), 56mm (22nd fret); Thickness: 20mm (nut), 21.5mm (12th fret)]
- 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard with jumbo frets - not much fret wear, fingerboard is in excellent condition
- Square-heeled bolt-on neck, with the original chrome screw plate at the back of the joint
- Original black painted headstock with Ibanez logo in white
- Rear of headstock has stickers with model and SN

- Chrome finished hardware
- Floyd Rose licensed locking tremolo (Takeuchi TRT-1) with original arm - installed
- Original "Top-Lok" nut - installed
- Original tuning machines, string tree, strap buttons - installed
- Original black plastic truss rod cover, cavity covers - installed
- Original black knurled/domed knobs - installed
- Aftermarket black metal "football" jackplate - installed

- Space for single coils/ stacked humbuckers in neck and middle positions - no pickups installed, original single coils not available
- Original (black open-coil) humbucker at bridge position - installed, works

- 5-way pickup selector (needs replacement, I'll include the replacement part), offers these combinations with original wiring:
- Neck SC
- Neck SC + Mid SC
- Mid SC
- Mid SC + Bridge humbucker inner coil
- Bridge humbucker
- 1 volume pot - installed, works
- 1 tone pot with push/pull to coil tap the inner coil on the bridge humbucker (Ibanez "Duo-Sound" control) - installed, works

Black guitar center gigbag included.
