1987 Jackson Custom Shop Soloist (SL1). The guitar is in pristine condition with the rare "snake print" graphic. Almost no play ware with a very tiny dent under the lower part of the headstock, very hard to see unless you flip the guitar upside down. It sounds killer…

I've never seen an '87 without the 3 on/off toggles before. You sure about the age of that instrument?

This guitar came to me from a collector but after you mentioned l checked the serial number and still not certain of the year (U 10544) any help is appreciated!. Also it has an original floyd rose double lock system and not a "licensed" as l have on my description (sorry about that) and the 5 way switch was probably a custom order.

U series Jacksons are USA Select models - nothing custom about them. Those are their standard USA production guitars.

That guitar is probably a 2005-8 based on the serial #.

Just found a few them by doing a bing search : 2006 Jackson Soloist sl1 snake skin.

Same 5 position switch, same everything....
