FYI: If anyone buys this, you can get the software pack that comes with the new mbox-2 for $99 from digidesign until sept 30th. Make sure you have the right version of pro-tools before spending the $$.
BTW, the jury is still out on the mbox-2. It has more inputs, but no longer does it have the focusrite preamp. So, it's not really "better" by any stretch of the imagination. Digidesign has said in their forums that the mbox-2 was not targeted as an upgrade to mbox-1 owners (unless you are running a Mac).
