FS: Ibanez RG670DX w. TZ & AN Dimarzios - rare 1994 Fujigen, fantastic condition (UK)

Okay, I'm finally doing it and listing my beloved RG670DX, as although I love her, she simply doesn't get the playing time from me.

Original 1994 Ibanez RG670DX in Lazer Blue colour, in fantastic condition! I've upgraded the only things that needed doing: an uprated USA jack socket and 5-way switch, and Dimarzio humbuckers in the classic Tone Zone (bridge) and Air Norton (neck) combo. Middle pickup is the original Quantum single coil, which provides great clean tones in split-switching with the bridge or neck.

A Tremol-No has also been installed to allow additional trem stability and can be operated in the following settings: free-floating (as per normal trem use), down-only (which prevents trem upward motion for tuning stability and ability to drop-tune), or fully locked (to create a 'fixed' bridge feel).

Owned and extremely well cared for from brand new (purchased in 1994), this is a rare model which was produced only for the European market in 1994. Certainly one for the Ibanez collector!

Essentially the same as an RG770DX, but with the AANJ (all access neck joint) for easier upper fret access, and (IMHO) the best double locking tremolo system ever used on an Ibanez: the Lo-Pro Edge.

As a DX model, this features a bound fretboard and headstock, colour-matched headstock and shark tooth fretboard inlays.

Neck is the original Wizard; frets are jumbo on maple fretboard. Hardware (trem, tuning heads) is cosmo and is in excellent condition. Tuning heads are Gotoh (Japan). The Lo-Pro Edge is in tip-tip condition, as I've always used brass bridge inserts (Saddle Singers) to prevent wear (as pictured). Neck, frets and body are all in similarly excellent condition, with none of the common surface cracks around the neck pocket, that can often affect other RG's of vintage.

A clip-lock strap is also included, securely fixed behind the original over-sized strap buttons.

An example of Ibanez Fujigen Japanese rock guitar making at its peak, and certainly a model that you're unlikely to find elsewhere in such great condition!

Would prefer to hand over the guitar in person (and could probably meet part way up the road for a collection), but can courier ship within UK if required for around £30 for packaging & courier.

Price is £950. Cash on collection or bank transfer preferred (or buyer pays PayPal fee). Any questions, please feel free to ask! Links to pics below:

She's going on the 'bay shortly - if you want to buy from me directly (which I'd prefer), please drop me a message or reply.
