Up For Sale is my Krank Krankenstein v1 Head

The Krankenstein name says it all. These are great High Gain Heads for a totally affordable price. This is a two-channel head (DIME & Clean Channels) that has a great dynamic range of tone.

  • For those that do not know a lot about it, it is a very unique amp with very sensitive controls. This is not an amp that you can just plug in your "Usual Amp Settings" and just play. To find my couple favorite sweet spots took a couple hours of tweaks and experimentation.
  • The sweep control can drastically alter the range of EQ provided by other controls. For example, the Frequency ranges of the Bass, Mid and Treble are altered by the position of the Sweep.
  • The Presence is also very powerful control on this amp as well. Slight presence changes can greatly alter the tone. It also plays along with the Sweep to make for the most extreme tone changes.
  • Clean Channel is great and has tons of life and a bit of grit if you want it.
  • There is an overall volume and the DIME channel has two Master Volume Controls which are foot-switchable. This is essentially your Solo Boost.
  • Footswitch is included and switches Master Volumes and Channels

Condition: Amp is fully functional and in overall great shape. Other than a few light scuffs here and there, and some worn leather on the handle, this is in great condition cosmetically too.

The only drawback I ever had with this head is that the effects loop does not take pedals well. Says right in the manual that Krank loops are designed for Effects Processors with send and return loops, not pedals. I don't own a processor so I can't comment not that aspect. That being said, it takes pedals out front pretty well in my opinion. If you are a person who loves pedals in the loop, this may not be right for you.

I am asking $600 obo Shipped in USA lower 48 with PayPal Gift/Friends option. Would consider Boss NS-2, Digitech Drop, Decimator 2 or G-String, TC Electronic Tone Print pedals/mini Pedals as partial trades.
