I'm going to Turku, Finland for about a week for a work-related conference, and I'll have a little free time while I'm there. I'll be doing the usual touristy stuff: saunas, boat rides, etc. Any suggestions for things to do/see? As for guitar shopping, I doubt I'll find any deals on guitars, since 1) it's Europe, 2) the US dollar is so weak, and 3) most shops have limited hours during the summer in Finland. Any good concerts happening next week? It looks like I'll be there for Ruisrock 2005. Is it any good?

Yeah man!!! Helsinki is full of guitars shops. By the way Iron Maiden is coming to Finland, Helsinki. Hope you like beeing in Finland.

Cool man! If you want to visit a really good guitar shop in finland you'll have to go to Levytukku Oy in helsinki. There you will find plenty of Ibanez guitars, even some J-Custom guitars. And not far from where Levytukku is Fazers Music, also a quite large music store with plenty of guitars.

Otherwise there is not much to see in Finland (that's just my opinion), just make sure you visit some saunas.
