Hey, folks! In my efforts to dial in and perfect my Jem DBK, I bought two Goldo Backbox's after some careful research. I recently installed them in my Jem and I'm having some issues with tuning stability and the ever elusive "return to zero." Any help or advice for honing these suckers in is much appreciated!

No

There's nothing you can do

I tried it all

It's a poor design. It knocks itself out of whack. Every time you pull back on the bar, it loosens the knob controlling how far fowards or backwards it goes (usually screwing itself fowards). I tried stuffing it with plumbers tape, duct tape, etc...

It's the best floating trem mod, and I had hip shot , tried esp and ibanez

I highly suggest for use on NON Ibanez edge 6 string trem (eg VERY cheap/unstable knock offs or even licensed or cheaper official ) but definitely great for 7+ strings, essential for an 8 string OFR

PS It's a stabilizer (meaning it takes pressure /tension from neck and also it returns it to a level zero, it doesn't block it but if that's what you need try ESP )
