VERY cool, I wish it was fully functional though, then again maybe I'm using it wrong :D I'd love to change pickup configurations, add/remove pickgaurds, do darker fingerboards (or maybe load textures there?), and change the inlays to offset dots (abalone or plastic) or the vine...then it would be perfect👌 But even as it is it's pretty fantastic!

You can already do all of that yes, just click on the appropriate guitar icon image on the left (or middle of screen if you're on mobile?), it's supposed to indicate which part of the guitar you are editting. But if that still doesn't work, let me know!

Really enjoying this guitar maker, a few suggestions:
  1. Can we get the descending sized offset dots, like the JPM100?
  2. Perhaps the pickup routes could be changed to those found on the direct mount RG's?
  3. Maybe we could get the neck and headstock binding to show looking straight on, it seems to really only be visible when viewing from the side.
  4. ebony/black fretboard option
That's really it, so far it's pretty fantastic, I especially like that I can add custom textures, since I have tons of pictures of transparent finishes/flame tops, I can mock up something with a figured top, which is really cool!

It's still a work in progress, so any suggestions is appreciated! I already have a few wood tops coming next and an ebony fretboard, also a new texture for the rosewood as it's a bit dark at the moment i think?

But thanks for the suggestions, I'll note them down!

I only work on this in my free time, so it will be updated periodically

Oh I like that!
I've had a thing for wanting to do a Jem 505 conversion with a traditional Japanese pattern fabric for a while. Will have a play with this later when I've got the right texture to upload..

If you're doing more updates being able to toggle on/off a Jem grip/ lions claw would be great too!

The Lions claw/Jem grip would be quite a big base-model change I'm afraid. For this iteration I'm going to focus on just the RG, but maybe I'll do another one for Jem at some point... :)

There's a 505 on a very popular auction website in the UK just now, looks more mint than well used though...

I was just going to be a cheap skate and find Japanese themed fabric online instead of buying the real deal.

Fabric top seems like a daunting thing though, if you mess it up the removal process would surely be a nightmare? That's why i was thinking about trying a headstock first...

There is indeed, but it's a bit pricey. Or to be precise is fairly priced as it's in v. good condition... As I'm refinishing the body anyway, I'll wait for a less minty one...
