Hi there,
I have a quick question about guitar transport. It's gotten a lot colder lately than I thought it would here in Ft. Worth, and my ibanez Jem is going to be in my car in near freezing temperatures for a couple days. It's in a UV1000 case, but I still expect it to get pretty cold. Are there any precautionary measures I need to take to prevent cold weather damage to the guitar? I know that temperature fluctuations can affect tuning, but in cold weather do I have to worry about any permanent damage to the wood on any part of the guitar?
Rich, if you're reading this, do you take any extra measures when shipping a guitar in the winter?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jeff.
