Wanting to get some info about my favorite bass I ever had, which was stolen when I was a teenager(like 1991-92). The last few years I have been trying to find the exact model/finish of bass on the net, to try and get another one. I cannot find it on google images, or anywhere else.

I am not sure of the model, but it was an Ibanez MIJ PJ four string. But it had a unique, what I was told was a "crackle magma" finish. It was basically a black finish, that looked like it had cracked into maybe 1/2" to 1" polygons all over, with several different shades of flourescent like colors in the cracks. Coolest looking finish I have seen on a bass.

If you have seen any kind of finish like that on an Ibanez, or other guitar, and know what it's name is I would love to find that out.

Kind of similar to a Charvel crackle, except the lines multicolor neon. I can't post a pic yet, but if you do a google image search for charvel crackle, you'll see what I mean.
