Hi all, new member here, hoping to make this my go-to for anything Ibanez!

So to make a long story short, I got into a very lucky trade recently, with a guy that probably had no idea what he was giving me.
I have a 1988 original Ibanez Jem77FP, all original hardware and paperwork.

I have no idea what she's worth, so I'm here to ask around a bit.
The hardware is pretty rusted and whatnot, and the pickups are quite faded, but apart from that the condition of it is amazing for it's age. Serial number is F884252.
I've photographed all the cosmetic issues with the guitar. In the photo of the neck pocket there is a very small crack, that the photo doesn't bring out at all unfortunately. There is also a rather sizeable dent on the top of the body by the bridge that I have tried to photograph.

Please can you give me some insight on the value of this beauty?
Thanks in advance!

Wow, I wasn't expecting an answer that detailed! Thank you!
I've had a local collector offer me $3500 NZD for it, so looks like that's a pretty amazing price for it. I'll have to seriously consider it now... damn.
Thanks again for the help :)

Good score Ben.

They are hard enough to find on this side of the ditch. I can imagine they must be quite rare in EnZed.

If a dealer is offering 3.5K, i would shake his hand before he changes his mind.

Beautiful guitar and highly sought after means don't you ever sell it!!
Believe me - if it was practical for me to keep it, I would. But as a poor college student with no other electric, a collectors item would just lose value from me owning it.
Pity it had to come up now, and not in a few years :(
