I want to replace my tremolo bridge on my GRX40 entry level guitar. I believe it currently has a "Fat 6" traditional tremolo bridge with a 6 screw mounting. My worry in the upgrade is that the 6 screws on my tremolo seem spaced differently than I see on the upgrades like on the vintage Floyd Rose or Wilkinson replacement models.

I've attached a photo of my bridge.

Any ideas on replacing the tremolo on the gio series with traditional 6 screw design?

I did some measurements:
Outside Screw width: 2.524,54.11mm

Guitar routing for Tremolo:
length: 3.324in,84.43mm
width: .0832in,21.13mm

Thanks for any help!

My 2 pennethworth is this:

THat guitar isn't worth upgrading. By the time you get anywhere with it you will have already spent more than the cost of the whole guitar, just on parts, and you'll still be stuck with a crappy body and neck, which will make all your efforts for naught.

Its going to be BETTER. It won't be GOOD, if you upgrade it.

Save some more, and throw some of that cash towards a mid level RG, or an old 550.
