As you can see, it’s a semi hollow body, late 80’s I think! But the serial nos is gone. Single pickup on the bridge. Any ideas anyone?

That would be an Ibanez AE400, early 80s

hi, many thanks for the reply, I’ve included a few more images as I think the model you’ve pointed out has a much deeper body, and no control knobs on the front.

Fantastic! Thank you so much, she’s not a bad little guitar, had her for almost 30 years now! I’d like to add something with duel humbuckers in the near future as she’s the only electric I’ve ever had! thanks again

How does it sound unplugged?

Im really interested in finding one of these but they never seem to appear when i have funds. Are you able to measure any of the neck dimensions?
Looks like a great player. Never saw one before.
Hi, re what she’s like to play, she’s quite heavy, but sits on the knee nicely. The only pickup is in the bridge with a single tone control. The tone hole is purely cosmetic as it is just the size you see, it doesn’t extent under the top. I’ll try and include some photos to show what I mean! Tonally, she doesn’t resonate all that well really, and her warmer tones are muted.
im happy to post any measurements you want but I normally just play ‘em so any advice re that I’ll. gladly take

additionally I’m in south London, if you’re reasonably near I’d be happy for you have a go.

Thanks for the info.

To measure the neck you would need digital calipers, i was just curious if you knew any numbers off the cuff. There's an Ibanez wiki page that has lots of info on Ibanez neck profiles, body types etc however this guitar is fairly uncommon so there's not much information on them. As usual with most of the 80's Ibanez i own it will be a lucky dip when get one of these and il measure it myself when i find one some day.

Unfortunately im not in the London area but thank you for the offer though.
