Eric Johnson's Cliffs Of Dover. I get good responses no matter where I am when I play that.skrewflanders said:i performed "eruption" at my high school last year, the whole student body went nuts! and this year i'm thinking about what to do that would be as extreme, but not repepitive to last year... any suggestions?

thats a great tune. not sure if it would really grab everyone's attention though. kinda laid back. but if you dig that stuff, you should try your hand(s) at some Joe Pass chord melody. that'd be killerskrewflanders said:i was thinking about riveara paradise by srv
I'm in Year 11 and I'm playing that very song at a school concert on Wednesday. Fingers crossed it'll go well, I'm more concerned about getting the emotions of that song across in my playing than anything else.Andelusion said:I played For the Love of God a few years ago when i was in year 11, a lot of people liked it! I even had an oldish man (must have been 70) walk up when i was packing up my pedals, i thought he was going to say something like 'Can't you play anything by the Beatles??' or something but intead he said 'Now i don't usually listen to that sort of music, but that was bloody great!' lmaoSo that was a nice suprise.
If you get the backing track for it and have a decent PA and pull it off then it'll have everyone's hair on end![]()
