My RG is Basswood body , Rosewood flat .
never seen in any posts , does anyone had experienced with that combo ?
What does it sound like ?
Is it good for soloing ?

Any advice is much appreciated.

My Rg-550 http://www.msnusers.com/guitarFonzie/shoebox.msnw?albumlist=2 has a breed in the neck and an hs-3 in the middle, but has an evo in the bridge. The neck and middle pickups are very good for soloing. The only thing is, there is a somewhat substantial volume drop from the lower output hs-3 in the middle.

For the neck I'd go with an Evo for blazing clear solos with obsolete tone, an HS-3 in the middle for a good punchy strat type sound, and a Breed in the bridge position for low end crunch, but that's just me. The Breed, HS-3, and ToneZone would be a great sounding setup as well. Just try your best to pick out the right pick up's (hahaha) that suit your playing style(s) and needs.
