I have an Ibanez RG Prestige 3020FM, and my edge pro has completely rusted through beyond repair, so I am wondering what tremolo should I buy as a replacement. I have been looking at the GOTOH 1996T but after a couple hours of looking around I can't tell if it will fit into my guitar. Does anyone know if it will fit, and if it won't are there any other alternatives that are a direct swap with the edge pro?

I’ve always avoided the Edge Pro so have never kept track of this properly, however...
My understanding is that the trem post spacing is different on this bridge unit compared to most ‘standard’ flora rose type terms and as such you may be limited to replacing with same type of bridge.
Hopefully others will be able to advise further...

Cool, thanks for clarifying - does this mean that the Edge Pro and other "normal" trems will be suitable replacements? Or are there other considerations like the overall dimensions etc that are likley to prevent a drop in replacement?
