I have a 1991 JS1WH with original case I am thinking of selling or trading. Its in excellent shape for its age and has very minimal yellowing.
I’m curious as to what this is worth now? I haven’t been staying up to date with values.
Trades considered would be Steinbergers

Dang man that's awesome. Those don't come around often, and yours is in pretty nice condition. The crack at the neck pocket... And the area of discoloration are the only things I can see that are an issue. I can't tell if the bridge/saddles are pitted from the pics though. Why do you want to sell it? The other 2 satisfy your JS needs lol?

No pitting on the bridge, maybe a couple little spots. I love the guitar but happened to fall in love with my Steiny more

They usually SELL for $1000+ but you’ll see em listed for $1500+ for over a year+

Ahhh okay. I think it's worth $1k They're more uncommon nowadays but not unheard of. If yours was the earlier model that didn't say "JS series" I'd say it was worth more like...$1500

You'd think, but from what I've seen sell... They don't go for as much as you think because of their age and wear. His is in pretty nice condition though. I've seen a really nice js1000 BP with a lo-pro sell for $750!

I know what GAS is. I’ve bought 8 Ibanez guitars just since joining this forum, and that is in 3 months time. Some were super cheap, some were cheap, and some were of the expensive variety. And that is just the Ibanez’s. I also bought a 42 year old Strat and a 42 year old Guild. And, I bought a Les Paul.

I also sold a Kramer, a Jackson, a Stratocaster Squier, and an LP Junior Epi. So now my total, when the 2 new ones arrive, will be 24. I am just about out of fun money for the year, but if I run across a super deal. Then you know I will make it happen.

The GAS is strong with you, Jedi. I just did a gear dump to force me to focus and grow in an uncomfortable space. I’m down to a 66 super reverb, small board and a vintage strat partscaster. I miss high gain fun and humbuckers for some things, so im trying not to buy a JS lol. Accidentally landing on some JS concert footage is making me weak!

White JS-1’s don’t come around often. Many blacks but white’s are hard to find and the reds are near impossible. I’ve only ever seen 2 reds and they were both beat up pretty hard.
