I got a Quest 54 BKF used that appeared to be in great shape - under the high 'E' Bridge 'barrel' it's a mess - assuming during manufacturing process, someone broke off the head of one of the two a screws holding the saddle down - leaving the screw shaft in the wood then screwed another screw on top of it. Because the first headless screw is still imbedded in the wood, the second screw wasn't installed at a 90 degree angle.
During the investigation the screw that lengthens the saddle got stripped and no longer screws back into the saddle all the way.
Where can I get parts for Q guitars?
I think the headless saddle is salvageable - all I need is the Saddle lengthening screw. Does anyone know the specifics of this and where to source one?
