I live in RU actually, and bought it exactly at sweetguitars.ru :)
Here's the link to the archived lot page:

Got it a while ago, really. As you can see now, not that many Ibanez in stock...
Wasn't looking for anything particular at that time. Just showed up at shop to compare and choose an RG. This one happened to be in perfect condition, and sounded by far clearer, punchy-er, sparklier, more consistent and sustainy than any other contestant. And had quite a peculiar, rare esthetic to it. (something fiery and deep at the same time)

Here's an audio of it if you're interested :) https://yadi.sk/d/0y9wh-SofFNhu

Edit: If you're referring to mine RG685, that is
Nice clip Ian.....great tone. I really like it. You must be a Zappa fan....:D

Oh, you're just too kind, guys. Thank you for checking out :) Made my day!
Are there any sections on Jemsite where people contribute their recordings? I'd love to listen to how local people jam here. :)

There's a section on the forum called "Multimedia: Music, Pictures, and Sounds" where people post a lot of music, personal or otherwise.

http://www.jemsite.com/forums/f25/

Also, on the top of that section there is a monthly "contest" called the "Jemsite Guitar Challenge". Every month there will be a backing track selected to record yourself playing over. It's a lot of fun and a great learning tool as well... and you are in luck, as this month's backing track is a Steve Vai style track that would fit your playing very well!

The backing track is available in the "Official" post here:

If you decide to record over it and submit an entry, there is another thread for posting entries. Would be great to have you enter it! There are usually 5-9 entries and it is just for fun and learning... no big prizes or overly critical scrutiny. I'd sure like to hear what you come up with for this track! If you have any trouble downloadingthe track, PM me with your email address and I can send it to you.

Oh yea, man, I totally dig this idea, very interesting on many levels. Looking forward to listen to all the guys jamming with it, and hopefully, I'll be able to contribute! And thanks a lot for the info!
Also, everything downloads well, no problem. :)
