i have exactly the same model
bridge edge
v7 s1 v8 pickups
gotoh machines
serial number is F98 4 2 8 8 2
and this is good deal to buy it for about 600$ ?
Appears to be an rg570 FM which is also what the picture is named. Its got quite a bit of player and fret wear too, and Iwouldnt pay more than 300 dollars for it to be honest.

It's an RG570. Not really in great condition though. I would consider a lower price for it if you were going too buy. :D

507 would be a seven string, and since this isn't, I would just trust them on saying that it's a 570. I joined the Ibanez bandwagon a bit late, missing out on the golden age of locking studs. XP

My bad. lol I have a bad habit of assuming guitars are seven strings when the model number ends in a 7. ;p

But yeah, by the looks of it (and info from the Ibanez '98 catalog ;-)) the RG570 was the only RG in production in 1998 that had rosewood fretboard with dots, HSH configuration, and an Edge trem.

Its not a 507 its probably a mistype. This is a rg570 FM Fm stands for flame maple. It could be a custom body but i doubt it it really does look factory. Thats still too much money for an rg like the one in the picture and you should consider purchasing from the United States if possible

A misprint? You mean they misprinted 570 - 507 in both '95 and '98? On all pictures? On several continents? Now really... Sorry, but I doubt it.

Well the picture you linked to is definitely a 570, but in reference to what else? Im not saying your absolutely wrong this is friendly discussion after all. Link to anything else youve seen labelled as a 507 and let me take a closer like I guess

Not sure what you saw on my link, maybe you're mixing my link up with the picture linked by Tomasz_PL. My link was to Ibanezregister.com. With three RG507s. :)
